The iPhone 6S Plus is the, well, plus-sized model of Apple's 2015 iPhone, but there may well be those who, after a year of carting it around, have started to find it a bit too big and have considered changing to the smaller iPhone 7.
V3 has put together a specs comparison of the two devices to see how they compare for anyone wondering about the switch.
iPhone 7: 138x67x7.1mm, 138g
iPhone 6S Plus: 158.2x77.9x7.3mm, 192g
No surprise here that that the iPhone 7 is smaller and lighter than the 6S Plus. This may well be the number one reason to move down a level to the more hand-friendly iPhone 7 for those who find the 6S Plus unwieldy.
iPhone 7: 4.7in 1334x750 resolution at 326ppi, with 3D Touch
iPhone 6S Plus: 5.5in 1334x750 resolution at 326ppi, with 3D Touch
The iPhone 7 is able to match the iPhone 6S for pixels per inch, despite the bigger screen on the iPhone 6S Plus, and actually beats it with a brighter display. Apple claimed that it is 25 per cent brighter than last year's model.
iPhone 7: 64-bit Apple Fusion A10
iPhone 6S Plus: 64-bit A9
Apple has given its processor chip a new moniker, Fusion, and as usual touted it as a major upgrade on the previous model with faster performance and better graphics handling.
Apple also said that a new GPU offers 50 per cent faster graphics than before, while a new performance controller makes for improved efficiency. Apple has claimed an extra hour of battery life compared with last year's model.
So once again the iPhone 7 beats the iPhone 6S Plus.
iPhone 7: iOS 10
iPhone 6S Plus: iOS 9, with option to upgrade to iOS 10
The iPhone 7 will run iOS 10 out of the box, and should mean that it outperforms older iPhones, even the iPhone 6S Plus, by having tighter integration between hardware and software.
Anyone with an iPhone 5 or above will be able to update to iOS 10 on 13 September.
iPhone 7: 12MP rear-facing, 7MP front-facing
iPhone 6S: 12MP rear-facing, 5MP front-facing
Once again the iPhone 7 takes it, thanks to the 7MP front-facing camera, which is an improvement on the iPhone 6S Plus. There is no dual-lens function on the iPhone 7, though, as only the iPhone 7 Plus has this feature.
iPhone 7: 1,960mAh
iPhone 6S Plus: 2,750mAh
The iPhone 6S Plus has a bigger battery than the iPhone 7, but Apple claimed that the iPhone 7 will actually last an hour longer.
Whether this proves true will have to wait for more real-world tests, but it could convince those who went for the iPhone 6S for the bigger battery that they can move down a size without losing out.
iPhone 7: 32GB, 128GB, 256GB, no microSD
iPhone 6S Plus: 16GB, 64GB, 128GB, no microSD
This is one of the biggest changes, as Apple fans have been crying out for a 256GB option, especially given the lack of a microSD card slot.
Apple has responded, and this will be a welcome boost for those always filling up their phones with photos, videos, apps and so on. As such, this is another boost for the iPhone 7 versus the iPhone 6S Plus.
The iPhone 7 definitely has the edge on its older, bigger brother despite being the smaller phone. Better cameras, storage, battery and processors all make it the preferred option.
However, if you really do want that bigger screen a comparison of the iPhone 6S Plus and the iPhone 7 Plus will be what you're really after. And luckily for you we can happily supply it.
