Swinging businessman Stephen White is aiming for an 'ole' in one in front of a television audience of thousands. White, a partner at Blackburn-based insolvency practitioners White & Co and a member of Accrington Golf Club, has won through to the final stages of a golf competition taking place next month at La Manga, Spain. The contest will be shown on Sky television. His four-man team snatched first prize in The Times/Mees Pierson Corporate Golf Challenge regional final and will jet out to the Spanish course in November for the final. White said: 'We have entered this competition for the past three years but have never got anywhere. This time everyone seemed to click and before we knew it we had won.' Although White is captain, he also holds the highest handicap and fears he may be affected by the cameras. 'Whatever happens, I intend to savour every moment,' White said.
