Apple readying iPhone SE2
Apple is reportedly readying a new budget iPhone

Apple has only just launched the iPhone 8 and X, but rumours have hit the web speculating that the company is working on a second iteration of the iPhone SE.
According to the China Economic News Service, the American tech giant will launch an iPhone SE2 in the first quarter of next year in a bid to offer consumers an affordable smartphone option.
The news site also claims that the handset will be manufacturered by Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Westron in Bangalore.
"Apple will release a new iPhone SE 2 in the first half of next year to storm emerging markets and ignite the first battle of next year's machine war between Apple and non-Apple," the report claims.
Apple unveiled the first generation SE in March 2016 as a way to cater for people who prefer the traditional iPhone form factor. It was also targeted at people who want a smaller handset.
The report didn't go into much detail about the SE2, and it's certainly not a new rumour. Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at KGI Securities, has previously claimed that Apple will release three new iPhones next year.
He said they'd essentially be different versions of the iPhone X. One of them would have a 5.8-inches, while the other would have a larger 6.5-inch size.
Meanwhile, the third handset would be a budget version. Costing between $650 and $750, it'll have a lower resolution screen. The other two will have OLED screens and cost in the same region as the current X.
The tech firm will release these devices, said Kuo, towards the end of next year. But the SE is likely to be launched around next Easter.
Whatever the case, Apple isn't exactly known for offering affordable products, but it'll no doubt expand its smartphone line-up to compete with the likes of Samsung.
