Virgin Media, which recently raised its prices for the second time in just nine months, is suffering a series of nationwide outages, according to disgruntled customers, some of whom claim services - and not broadband - have been down for 24 hours.
According to Down Detector, the outages are affecting Virgin Media customers across the whole of the UK, with recent reports of down time coming in London, Birmingham and Nottingham.
It's unclear when the problems started exactly, but users appear to have been complaining of Virgin Media outages since Monday.
One user moaned on Down Detector's pages: "@richardbranson virgin media should be renamed no media. terrible service for a long time. expensive and not working = cancelling my contract!"
Another says: "Please can you update me on the service status for ha2? we've had no virgin media service for over 24 hours."
It's not just broadband that has been affected: some users are also complaining that their home telephone and expensively supplied television services are not working, too.
Virgin Media has yet to officially comment on the downtime and is instead pointing customers to its service status page, where it's suggesting that everything's working exactly as it should be.

Virgin Media was formed out of the various elements of the UK's failed 1980s cable experiment, which encouraged a plethora of local start-ups to dig up the streets to install their own networks to supply cable television. Many of them were backed by US and Canadian cable companies, such as Videotron and Telewest.
In the 1990s, they used these networks as the basis of internet services with an infrastructure that was vastly more up-to-date than BT's, but in many cases seemed chaotically managed and run.
Throughout the 1990s, these companies were consolidated into two, NTL and Telewest, which eventually merged in March 2006, with the resulting company merging with Virgin Mobile later that year to form Virgin Media, rebranding accordingly in February 2007.
Virgin Media, meanwhile, was acquired by US cable price-gouger Liberty Global in June 2013 for the princely sum of $23.3bn.
