There are just over 24 hours until Apple’s iPhone 7 launch event and speculation is mounting about exactly what the firm will show off.
V3 has put together a little round-up of what is most likely to come from the biggest event in the tech calendar.
1. iPhone 7
This is an obvious one but definitely the most exciting, as it should mark a major update in the iPhone line-up rather than the more incremental increase that the iPhone 6S delivered.
Rumours abound as to what it will feature, including more storage, water protection and a new A10 chip, meaning that the handset will significantly outperform other iPhones.
There will be five colours to choose from, including two new options of Dark Black and Piano Black. Space Grey will be removed from the line-up.
And, after much speculation, it appears that the headphone jack will disappear. Instead, Apple has created a Lightning connection so that the headphones are plugged into the same socket as the charger.
Prices and release dates remain to be seen, although it is not going to be cheap and, based on past schedules, the release should be fairly soon after launch.
