Apple has taken the wraps off the final version of iOS 10 ahead of its release to supported iPhone, iPad and even iPod Touch devices.
It is now available to download the iPhone 5 and above, the fourth-generation iPad and above, and the iPad mini 2 and above. iOS 10 will also work with Apple's sixth-generation iPod Touch.
V3 has pored over the update to pick out 10 of the best features (it is iOS 10 after all) to get you excited ahead of the release.
10. Lift to Wake
A small but nifty feature to start us off. Lift to Wake means that, rather than having to press the home button to check the time or see any notifications, simply lifting the phone will bring it to life.
This is especially useful as, since the introduction of the Touch ID fingerprint scanner, it is often possible to unlock the phone when you simply want to see the lock screen, thereby wiping your notifications.
It should be noted, though, that this will work only with the iPhone 7, 7 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus and iPhone SE, as it requires the M9 motion co-processor.
