Most smartphones are much the same these days, and even sub-£200 devices offer high-quality specs and svelte design. It was not always so.

5. Nokia 7600
It may have been Nokia's second 3G handset, but it was definitely too weird for most to consider even with that accolade.
The 7600 was launched in 2003 and aimed at 'fashion' types, but the style-over-content design went a little too far. It was impossible to use one-handed which, apart from its overall ridiculous appearance, was enough to put most people off.
