Apple’s Music service is currently unavailable to scores of users in countries ranging from Italy and the Netherlands to the US.
The downdetector.com website suggests that the problems began at around 13:34 GMT after numerous reports on its website from Apple Music users that they are unable to access the service.
Apple's user forums are also awash with people complaining that they are unable to log-in or access their playlists.
There is no notice on Apple's official status page about the service having any problems.
Update: Apple did eventually acknowledge that there were some issues on Thursday with its status page noting there were problems with iTunes, which likely had a knock-on effect to Apple Music.
"Users experienced a problem with the iTunes store," was all it said.
V3 contacted Apple for any more information on the cause of the issue but had recieved no response at the time of publication.
