Twitter posts now appear in Google searches on iOS, Android and web apps
US users will be able to uncover searches in Google apps and browsers

Tweets will now appear in Google search results for US users of the Google app for iOS and Android and mobile web browsers.
A Twitter blog post said that a desktop version of the service will become available shortly, and that there are plans to expand the service beyond the US to other countries, although no clear dates were provided.
Further integrating Twitter with real-time Google searches will make it easier for people to discover more about their interests across both companies' services, the firm said.
Jana Messerschmidt, vice president of global business development and platform at Twitter, described how the service works in practice.
"For example, if you're interested in hearing more from Taylor Swift, a quick search on Google will pull up her most recent tweets. Or, if you're a TV buff, a search for #MadMen will bring up the most relevant news and tweets about Sunday's series finale," she wrote.
Tweets unearthed in Google searches can be accessed by tapping on a tweet in the results, which will show the full tweet and any accompanying content.
Twitter's move to integrate tweets with Google searches is yet another way to build out the functionality and features of the social network.
The company unveiled two new features in April designed to help people and businesses search and uncover tweets and content pertinent to their interests or business.
The first was the tweet-seeking Curator tool that helps companies search and curate tweets and find specific conversations or opinions on a given topic.
The second was a 'retweet with comment' feature for Twitter's iOS and web apps which allows users to quote other tweets with their own thoughts without breaching Twitter's 140-character limit.
Google is not Twitter's only major technology brand partnership. The social network firm teamed up with IBM recently to introduce the latter's big data analytics capabilities and provide companies with more data insights.
