Software AG has announced it is to migrate its entire cloud-based portfolio of software and services to be hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) as part of a wider initiative to help customers adopt the cloud.
The German developer of enterprise software and services announced its 'Transformation to the Cloud' initiative, and said that as part of this it will migrate its entire portfolio onto AWS during 2015.
Already running on the AWS today are the Alfabet Cloud and ARIS Cloud product suites, but Software AG said it will follow these up with webMethods Integration Cloud and webMethods AgileApps Cloud.
Software AG said it had chosen AWS as its global cloud hosting provider as it is the clear market leader both in size and brand awareness among large-scale enterprises, resulting in excellent operational efficiencies.
