Lenovo has listed the laptops that contained the Superfish adware, promising business users that their devices are unaffected by the software.
A statement from Lenovo revealed that Superfish may have appeared on models from the popular Yoga series of convertible laptops, but was not installed on any of the company's business products. The full list is at the bottom of the article.
The statement follows Lenovo's attempt to calm concerns after customers found Superfish installed on their laptops.
"This software has never been installed on any enterprise product, servers or storage, and these products are in no way impacted," Lenovo said.
The company added that it had not installed Superfish on any of its ThinkPad laptops, desktops or smartphones, and that the adware will not be installed on any of its other devices.
Lenovo claims that it stopped preloading laptops with Superfish in January, as well as cutting the server connections that enabled the software to work.
The company is providing online resources to help customers remove Superfish, and is addressing any other problems with the adware.
"We are going to spend the next few weeks digging in on this issue, learning what we can do better," said Lenovo.
"We are working directly with Superfish and with other industry partners to ensure we address any possible security issues now and in the future.
"We apologise for causing any concern to any users for any reason, and we are always trying to learn from experience and improve what we do and how we do it."
