Acer has announced new systems aimed at businesses, comprising an all-in-one with touchscreen support, plus a compact desktop that can be mounted behind a screen to save on space.
Available from this month, the Veriton Z4 Series is based on Intel's 4th generation Core processors, fitted behind a 23in touchscreen display.
The Z4 Series comes with a full HD webcam that can be adjusted by up to 180 degrees for flexibility during conference calls, according to Acer. The screen containing the system unit can also be attached to a wall using a Vesa-compliant wall mount.
Meanwhile, the Veriton N series achieves the right balance between productivity and efficiency, Acer said. Its compact chassis has a one litre volume, making it easy to move and find a space for.
Also based on Intel's 4th generation Core processor family, the Veriton N series offers a range of storage options to suit various application requirements.
The chassis for the Veriton N is composed of a primary module and an optional module for add-on hardware, including a PCI Express card or graphics adapter. A third module, able to support optical drives or a second hard drive, will be available at a later date.
Both the Veriton Z4 Series and N Series come with a trusted platform module (TPM) 1.2 security chip. Acer's Office Manager software also enables small businesses to deploy security policies, monitor IT assets, and set maintenance with minimum effort, the firm said.
