Apple may be facing a tougher market than it has in a number of years, with competition from Samsung in particular keeping it on its toes, but the desire for its iPhone 5 shows no sign of waning, especially from its loyal fans.
As such, when we put together a short little tips and tricks video showcasing some of the hidden features of the device, it is perhaps no surprise it proved the most popular content of the week, and no doubt was used by many to show off to friends and family over the weekend.
Elsewhere, another video that proved popular, was the water dunk test of the Sony Xperia Z, as we put the firm’s boasts about water proof capabilities to the test, and found that it did indeed survive unscathed.
Another story that piqued the interest, for very different reasons, was the claims from leading data protection watchdogs that the so-called ‘right to be forgotten’ on the web is unworkable, and would prove too burdensome for firms to adhere too.
Finally, the V3 Hot Seat underlined its popularity with readers, with the chief technology officer of Tata Consulting Services (TCS), proving a popular character, as V3 continues to find out more about those that keep the IT sector moving forward.
