With just over a week until the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4 on the UK market - which has been delayed by one day - we finally got a chance to have a play on the S4 at the Samsung World Tour event in London on Tuesday evening, as you can see from our video demo.
The phone was first unveiled in March and, as expected, Samsung loaded it with a host of new innovations and features designed to attract the attention of smartphone lovers everywhere.
In light of this we put together our top 10 exciting features from the device and we have to say, having tried it out, we feel justified in our list, especially with the Air Scroll and Eye Gesture capabilities, which occupied the top two spots - head to page five to read more.
No doubt Apple is watching on anxiously and busy developing its own ideas for the next iPhone as the showdown between the two market heavyweights looks set to rumble on throughout 2013.
10. Improved design
The only major criticism you could level at the S3 was that its plastic body made the device feel a bit, well, cheap. However, despite worries this would be the same with the S4, the device has been improved in this area.
The S4 comes with a polycarbonate shell that doesn't feel at all inferior to other devices on the market, and we were impressed during our brief hands-on free-for-all at the event last night in New York.
Furthermore, at 7.9mm thin it is one of the slimmest handsets out there and in our brief hands-on we certainly noticed the difference compared to the S3.
