Collaboration and storage firm Box has continued its rapid development and growth by announcing native integration of its services within 10 software vendors including Oracle and SugarCRM.
The announcement, made during the firm's BoxWorks conference in San Francisco, will see several vendors integrate Box's capabilities directly into their platforms so customers can access all of their data from a single location.
Speaking to V3 the firm's chief executive Aaron Levie said that as businesses increasingly want to mix and match the software systems are using, rather than just using one vendor, integrations like this would help meet this demand.
"This gives firms the chance to use any of the different software systems they want and still take advantage of our integrated technology," he said.
"This space [enterprise collaboration and storage] is really going through a maturing period right now because we are able to get more connectivity between applications - the deal we have announced with these partners is good indications of where this industry is heading."
The integration follows on from the same deal announced with NetSuite in May at the vendors SuiteWorld event. The other vendors including in the update are Concur, Cornerstone OnDemand, DocuSign, Eloqua, FuzeBox, Jive and Zendesk.
The firm is also going to make the necessary code available to allow partners and customers to add the Box tool to their services.
Levie also touched on the deal signed with Intel last week that saw the chip giant provide funding to the firm as part of its ongoing growth.
"Intel actually came to us after the last round of funding with an offer and we decided to work with them because they are a strong leader in the PC market and moving into mobile and we believe this is really the future of business," he said.
"It's about letting people access the information and environments they want from any device and working with Intel gives us a really strong partner with which we can develop new technologies."
The announcements from Box come a week after it updated its security policies to include two-factor authentication as standard.
