V3 got a hands-on look at ZTE's first ever Android Ice Cream Sandwich-powered handset.
Unveiled on Wednesday, ZTE claimed the Grand X will be a major milestone in its plans for Western expansion.
The device focuses on entertainment packing a dual-core Tegra 2 1GHz processor and coming preloaded with access to the Tegra Zone - a market with games unavailable on the standard Google Play store.
The Grand is set for release in August via Phones 4 U on Virgin Media. The handset builds on the legacy built by the company's previous Skate and Kis devices, retailing for a modest £195. Check back with V3 closer to the time for a full review.
