The next-generation Samsung Galaxy smartphone caused all the excitement last week, as the firm finally took the wraps off its first quad-core device. The Galaxy S3 runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich and has a bigger battery to support the souped-up performance on offer.
You’ll have to wait until later in the month for our full review, but for now you can watch our video demo or read our first impressions.
Slightly lower on the hype scale, Microsoft is due to show off IllumiShare, designed to make it possible for users to work together on any physical or digital objects, via services such as Skype.
IllumiShare lets remote users simultaneously work on any physical or digital object, making remote collaboration a more immersive experience, via a lamp-like system housing cameras and projectors.
On a less positive note for Microsoft, it was forced to rush out a patch for a bug in its Hotmail email service.
