Apple chairman Gil Amelio says 1997 will be the year the company overhauls its entire product line in order to fuel growth and market share in 1998. In a pre-Mac World briefing on Monday, he confirmed that the January trade show would see the unveiling of the firm's new operating system roadmap, but refused to be drawn on any details yet. He said he remained confident that the Mac user base would stay faithful to the company.
