Harvey Goldsmith Entertainments Ltd fell into hot water following substantial losses on the recent Total Eclipse Festival in Cornwall. Buchler Phillips partner Lee Manning, who is acting as administrator, said: 'Our strategy will be to work closely with the directors to respond to a number of approaches from potential investors interested in the ongoing business of concert promotion and event production. We are hopeful a new, strengthened business will emerge.' Goldsmith, who has been promoting concerts for 30 years including the new tour by the Pet Shop Boys (above), is believed to have been approached by German impresario Peter Schwenkow whose Deutsche Entertainment group is negotiating a rescue package. Meanwhile Deloitte & Touche has been appointed as administrator to crisis-hit budget airline Debonair Airways which has run into 'financial difficulties'. Administrators Nick Dargan and Ralph Preece have been called in to manage the airline and have been engaged in discussions with a number of operators. Other tour operators have carried Debonair passengers to minimise the disruption.
