Informix has dismissed its accountants, Ernst & Young, and is in the process of hiring KPMG Peat Marwick. The move follows two profitable quarters following the supplier's financial crash 18 months ago that were followed by a string of insider trading lawsuits against company executives. Informix will provide more details behind the dismissal in about five days when it issues an S-8 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
