Both Baroness Thatcher, former prime minister of the UK, and Mikhail Gorbachev, former president of the USSR, will appear at the World Congress on Information Technology, to be held in Virginia in the US next month. The former heads of government will dispense advice to the IT industry at the event, expected to draw an audience of more than 1,700 CEOs, financial officers and product development specialists from the world's leading IT and service companies.
They will be joined by Michael Dell, CEO of Dell, James Barksdale, CEO of Netscape, and Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle.
