Canon is to team up with IBM Japan to offer corporate consulting services such as server maintenance to PC vendors.
Under the terms of the deal Canon will handle all maintenance administration such as taking phone enquiries and despatching IBM technicians to perform the maintenance tasks.
Canon already has a deal to sell IBM PCs and has partnered with other computer companies such as Apple.
