Television web portal Yes TV has signed a distribution agreement that will enable it to enter the broadband video on demand market.
The company, which said it plans to float on the London stock exchange in future, has signed up with u>direct, a distributor of new and classic independent films. Yes TV claimed that the deal would provide consumers with a wider range of feature films in video on demand format.
It also confirmed that it has signed a deal with BBC Worldwide to supply it with several hundred hours of programming that will also be available as video on demand.
On the sporting front, Yes has teamed up with Trans World International to provide consumers with live and archived sports footage.
