A Florida woman has lost custody of her children after admitting she is addicted to the Internet.
Pam Albridge lost custody of her seven and eight year-old kids after a judge agreed with her estranged husband, Kevin Albridge, that she was unfit to retain custody. Court records stated: "The wife is, for want of a better term, addicted to the Internet and ignores the needs of the children."
Witnesses said Mrs Albridge moved the computer into her bedroom and put a lock on the door after the couple separated, as Mr Albridge?s lawyers claimed she suffers from Internet Addiction Syndrome.
