Lotus has announced that it is to sell its pared-down server, Go, and a new toolkit for creating rentable applications.
Lotus Go 4.6, an HTTP Web server without the messaging, collaboration or newsgroup functions of Notes, will be sold from 15 August. The server will compete with products such as Microsoft Internet Information Server and Netscape Enterprise Server.
