Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen has sold 5.45 million of his shares in the company, worth about $781 million - but only representing a fraction of his total holding. Allen will still hold 94 million shares worth about $13.5 billion. Allen routinely sells Microsoft stock to finance other business ventures including technology start-ups and sports ventures.
