Devotees of IT sects like Java got some salvation last week from the news that the church is getting online at the 1998 Lambeth Conference.
Using SoftArc's FirstClass Intranet Server, 749 bishops were taught the rudiments of Email and the Internet to share conference news with churches back home. "The aim is to facilitate discussion on the future of the church and decisions that will affect it over the next 10 years," explained Father Ron Burns, a Vancouver priest administrating the project. Father Ron retires ffrom the priesthood in June next year, but will keep the faith by selling SoftArc's FirstClass exclusively to the church.
