A Plaid Cymru official website has fallen foul of voters for making fun of the late Queen Mother and branding residents of one housing estate as drunks and criminals.
On the party's downloads section, which was run by activists from South Merthyr and Rhymni, there was a picture of the Star Wars character Yoda dressed as the late Queen Mother, which was captioned "memorial picture".
Another section had a spoof article where residents of a local estate were called drunks and criminals.
The site was "updated" following "discussions" with the Plaid leadership, and the offending articles removed.
A spokeswoman for the South Merthyr and Rhymni branch has formally apologised for the material.
