Inktomi has posted lower than expected losses for the fourth quarter ended 30 September 1998.
The company reported a net loss of $6.6 million, or 28 cents per share, excluding one-time charges, for the acquisition of C2B Technologies. Analysts predicted a loss of 33 cents per share.
Sales rose dramatically however, to reach $8.3 million in the fourth quarter, a 317 per cent increase over the same period last year.
