NobleNet has enhanced its object request broker with new Internet features, including direct integration with various components without the need for bridges or wrappers. Nouveau, due this week, provides integration across various distributed computing technologies, including Component Object Model (COM), Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA), remote procedure call (RPC) and Java, which uses Remote Method Invocation (RMI). The upgrade's Internet design enables the product to work directly with firewalls. The new product sells for a base price of $5,000 (#3,030) for a single software development kit.
