Microstrategy is attempting to make report writing easier for users of its online analytical processing (Olap) software by adding a report wizard to its client offerings. Version 5.0 of DSS Agent for Windows and DSS Web will be targeted at non-technical users, who, in future, should not need training to be able to build reports. DSS Web is due in September and is expected to cost $12,500 for four concurrent users, while DSS Agent is scheduled to ship at the end of July, costing $995 per user.
