A recent survey by Bull Information Systems has revealed that 70% of UK organisations want more efficient networks. This was highlighted by the following results: 62% of IT and network managers say that their departments are under resourced; over half of IT and network managers said that they do not have time to keep up with technological change and finally more than 77% said they had to invest time in educating users on how to get the best from their network. The research was conducted by Spikes Cavell who interviewed 150 respondents during January 1998.
