A new telco for the Italian market is to be launched next year by Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom, and Italian state electricity company Enel. The operators will plough in #4 billion to help set up the company to be called Wind. It is aiming for the number two slot in Italy's telecomms sector worth #21 billion by 2007.
