Scottish government agencies yesterday opened a business centre in Silicon Valley to promote the country's software companies and boost exports to the US.
The first of its kind to come from the UK, the centre is operated by export agency Scottish Trade International and development body Scottish Enterprise. It believes it can win #6 million worth of extra software export business by the end of the decade.
