IBM Global Services has won a $2.2 billion (#1.3 billion) extension to its outsourcing deal with Boeing, that includes voice and video services for the entire company. Under the agreement, which runs until 2008, IBM will provide voice and video teleconferencing services to all Boeing employees, including voice mail, equipment and operations and maintenance support.
The deal reflects the continued growth in the services market and an important win for IBM as other vendors begin to offer support packages.
