OmniMark Technologies is shipping its XML-based middleware, Konstructor 1.0.
Konstructor, a server-side suite that starts at $10,000 (#6,000) or $60,000 (#36,000) for high-load servers, delivers data from Extensible Markup Language (XML) , Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) and relational database repositories. Konstructor also generates interfaces. Targeting users building applications with XML or relational data, Konstructor produces an information delivery package in HTML, text or XSL, in which XML style sheets are written.
The product includes the OmniMark Programming Language, connectivity libraries, an application server template and a load manager.
