Motorola's semiconductor products business is to acquire processor software tools developer Metrowerks for $95 million.
Metrowerks sells Codewarrior, a range of software development products that helps processor OEMs to simulate Motorola's chip in their products. This helps OEMs decide how best to use Motorola processors in their final designs.
