Rogue Wave Software has acquired Stingray Software to enhance its range of Java utilities for application development and to provide it with ActiveX controls and Microsoft Foundation Class add-ons. Stingray will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Rogue Wave, but will continue to be headquartered in Morrisville, North Carolina. The transaction is expected to close on 28 February.
