A website which claims that it will bring UK consumers massive savings on new cars was launched today.
Oneswoop.com lets consumers buy their preferred car from a virtual showroom. The site takes care of delivery, registration and importing. It also offers loans, insurance and warranty.
Oneswoop is quoting a Land Rover Freelander 1.8 Millennium Softback at £13,989, for example. This is 41 per cent cheaper than the car's UK list price of £23,815.
Through its European network of car dealers the company claims it can bring UK consumers some of the best prices on Ford, Peugeot, Rover, VW Audi, Mercedes and BMW models. Prices on the site include 17.5 per cent VAT, but exclude any delivery and on-the-road costs.
Oneswoop has teamed up with Marks & Spencer Financial Services for personal loans and HSBC's Autodirect for insurance. The company also provides extended warranties through National Insurance and Guarantee.
Oneswoop plans to extend the service into France and Germany in the next few months.
