Apple has posted a third-quarter profit of $203 million (£131 million) - double that of the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $1.65 billion (£1.1 billion), up 11% on the same quarter a year ago. Apple CEO Steve Jobs said the company benefitted from continued success of the iMac in the consumer and education markets.
