Internet companies and content providers are set to head the mergers and acquisitions trail in 1997, according to the annual Broadview Associates survey. While Broadview predicts fewer mergers in 1997 than before, some 89 per cent of content providers say they are looking to merge with another company in the next 12 months. That?s 30 per cent more than the ?traditional? IT suppliers. Broadview surveyed 175 companies across all IT market sectors.
