Computer Associates' Cheyenne division is working with Microsoft on building a Windows NT version of its DS Standard systems management product. DS Standard for Windows NT will provide offline management, modelling and disaster recovery capabilities and enable users to take snapshots of live NT Server directory environments. It will support NT's Active Directory services, and will ship in the same timescales. Active Directory is due to go into beta at the end of the year.
