The Lotus senior vice president who was responsible for marketing Notes around the time of its launch has left the company to head up a Massachusetts Web development start-up called Bright Tiger.
Larry Moore joined Lotus in 1986 and was most recently senior vice president of its emerging products group. The group produces the Domino.apps range of server applications for electronic commerce and Web development.
He left Lotus in 1992 to join Philips as chief executive of its home services division but rejoined Lotus two years later to set up its telecomms services group.
Brian Bell, currently Lotus? vice president of Internet software and services will take over from Moore.
