What a talented bunch we are at PC Week! Pictured above with Hermstedt's marketing director Julian Parveu (left) is PC Week's art editor, Andy Bunyan, receiving a cheque for #1,000 after winning the 'Nothing's Faster' Karting competition. The 50 winners of a draw at Apple Expo last year were invited to attend (along with some shady characters from the trade press) to fight it out on the tarmac for the rather generous cash prize.
The event took place last week at the Daytona karting track in London's Shepherd's Bush, with heats and semi-finals before a thrilling final.
Parveu said: "The event was a great way to combine our ISDN 4 products and a good bit of fun with the emphasis on speed. It certainly went down well with all who were there."
