Until recently, Cisco has nurtured Asia into becoming one of its fastest growing markets. Continuing financial trouble in the region has put off companies looking to invest in IT and, consequently, Asia is now one of Cisco's slowest business regions. Cisco's president and chief executive John Chambers said sales in Asia now represent just 12% of overall revenue, down 4% from previous years.
