Sun has introduced its Java Premium Support programme for companies or ISVs building Java-based applications using Javasoft's development tools. The service is available in two levels. Java Business Support includes early access to selected product releases and a secured Web site for technical bulletins and support news. Java Enterprise Support is aimed at larger organisations and includes an assigned account team to conduct an initial on-site visit and annual onsite reviews of a firm's support needs. It also includes a free submission of two applications to Sun's 100% Pure Java certification process.
