Toshiba Telecoms has set up a computer telephony integration (CTI) package for resellers.
The scheme will link the company?s dealers with CTI software developers to offer products aimed at small to medium sized organisations.
Toshiba Telecoms develops a range of Strata telecomms switches which fit into a company?s network.
At the end of the month, it will launch Strata DK16 and DK280 which will enable users to create, send, receive, review and save voice messages from any dial-tone phone. The systems can also attach comments to a message and forward it to another mailbox with the system.
The first software partner to take part in the CTI Authorised Reseller scheme is AVG Sales and Marketing. It will supply Phonetastic which converts telephony protocols into PC compatible instructions. Resellers will also be enable to integrate AVG?s customer account management package, Goldmine, to their telephone systems.
Graham Burdett, channel marketing manager for Toshiba Telecoms, said: ?The new scheme will provide customers with access to a wide variety of CTI applications. Customers will be able to buy VTI applications from dealers with the certain knowledge that they will receive training, service and after sales support from a fully trained reseller.?
