IT Relief has sent a team of climbers out to the Himalayas as part of an initiative to raise money for third world schools.
While they are there the team will investigate what IT skills and equipment would most help schools in Nepal, many of which were founded by the first man to conqueror Everest, Sir Edmund Hillary.
The expedition, sponsored by networking supplier Azlan, will attempt to climb several mountains in the Himalayas, of which Island Peak is the highest at 20,300 feet.
