Network terminal vendor, Network Computing Devices (NCD) is to acquire the network displays arm of Tektronix. Financial details were not released.
NCD said it would retain all the unit's 130 strong employees.
Robert Gilbertson, NCD chief executive, said: "Tektronix has an outstanding new line of Windows based terminals, network computers and browser terminals that will substantially broaden our product line."
