Sega will challenge its retail stores in the US when it launches an online service to boost demand for the Dreamcast console and take advantage of the predicted growth in online sales. Sega will offer online games through its own Internet service provider (ISP), a new subsidiary called Sega.com.
The ISP will also give away a Dreamcast to users who sign two-year subscriptions.
